After working as an assistant coach over recent seasons, including two years at Kolossos H Hotels, Giorgos Sigalas penned a three-year contract to become the head coach of the team located in Rhodes.

Projected to play in the Qualification Rounds of the ninth edition of the Basketball Champions League, Kolossos advancing to the Regular Season will be the first goal for Sigalas, a former EuroLeague champion as a player of Olympiacos in 1997.

Also starting a new week with a new head coach, Baxi Manresa replaced Pedro Martinez with returning Diego Ocampo. The 48-year-old tactician is also the head coach of the senior national team of Czechia.

Fellow BCL and ACB participant, Lenovo Tenerife parted ways with Elgin Cook, Alex Lopez, and Edgar Vicedo.

Signings for Oostende, Saint-Quentin, and Manisa

The participating teams for the 2024-25 edition of the Champions League are expected to be confirmed within the next few days. The champion of Belgium for 13 years in a row, Filou Oostende is a lock. Running it back for a second year with the lasting BCL original, Estonian Matthias Tass inked a one-year contract extension.

Debuting in the top-tier club continental competition of FIBA Europe, Saint-Quentin signed Congolese forward Giovan Oniangue for two years and re-signed captain William Pfister for the next season.

After averaging 14.8 points per game over 14 appearances in the 2023-24 installment of the FIBA Europe Cup with ERA Nymburk, 25-year-old Ty Gordon moved his talents to fellow BCL newcomer Manisa.
