Building a well-oiled roster to get to the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, MoraBanc Andorra announced the huge addition of Shannon Evans to the team.
The club was drawn into Tournament 4 of the BCL Qualification Rounds, having to go up against Antwerp Giants in the Quarter-Finals before potentially clashing with Telekom Baskets Bonn in the following round.
Starting the 2023-24 season in China with the Beijing Ducks, the 29-year-old guard moved his way back to Spain, signing with Joventut Badalona to average 11.2 points and 4.0 assists per game in the BKT EuroCup.
MoraBanc Andorra will be Shannon Evans’ fourth Spanish team since the beginning of his overseas career. He led the ACB in scoring during the 2022-23 campaign with 21.0 points per game with Real Betis before moving to Valencia in the EuroLeague and finally to Joventut Badalona.
Moving his way to Europe in 2018 after his time in Arizona State, he has been representing the Guinean national team since the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers, where he had 19.2 points over six total appearances. At the recent 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers, he had 23.3 points over three game.
