Bertram Derthona Tortona renewed the loan of French import Ismael Kamagate from EA7 Emporio Armani Milan for the 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old center with his NBA rights at the Los Angeles Clippers will debut in the Basketball Champions League after playing nine games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Olimpia Milan and 20 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup with Paris. In earlier moves, Andrea Zerini penned a contract extension, and Justin Gorham, Tommy Kuhse, and Christian Vital joined the Italian club.
A veteran of 21 BCL appearances in extended runs with Baxi Manresa over the last two seasons, Dani Garcia moved his talents to UCAM Murcia, becoming the first offseason addition for the Universitarios. The 26-year-old floor general committed for the next two years with his contract containing an option for an additional season.
Incoming from Benfica, carrying 20 games played in the Champions League, Terrell Carter II moved his talents to Igokea m:tel. Captain Dragan Milosavljevic alongside Sacar Anim, Luka Galic, Vojin Ilic, Velibor Milovanovic, and Ognjen Radosic are already placed on the roster for head coach Nenad Stefanovic.
Karsiyaka signs three players
Elsewhere in the top-tier club continental competition of FIBA Europe, Pinar Karsiyaka tabbed 26-year-old American guard Fatts Russell, 31-year-old French center Jerry Boutsiele, and 28-year-old Turkish center Muhsin Yasar for the upcoming season.
Youngster Yaman Alisan inked a two-year contract with Galatasaray Ekmas with an option for an additional season. Roberts Blumbergs, David Efianayi, Ebuka Izundu, and James Palmer Jr. are earlier arrivals for the Lions.
Manisa picked up 23-year-old Ali Efe Baris, a former Karsiyaka player with one appearance in the Champions League. American point guard Ty Gordon was the first summer signing for head coach Ozan Bulkaz.
Moves in Israel
Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan re-signed 23-year-old Yahel Melamed on a two-year contract extension. Adam Ariel, Kendale McCullum, and Itay Moshkovitz are also staying. Drew Crawford, Roi Huber, and Amin Stevens are the newcomers so far.
Fellow Israeli club, Hapoel Netanel Holon retained team captain Niv Misgav for the 2024-25 season. The 28-year-old guard committed to a fifth straight year. Hapoel Holon previously reunited with head coach Guy Goodes.
Two more players for Kolossos
Lithuanian Paulius Danusevicius and Nigerian Francis Okoro joined Kolossos H Hotels for the next season. Earlier moves for the Greek club saw Nikos Kamarianos sticking around and Giorgos Sigalas hired as head coach.
After placing Fabian Bleck, Julius Bohmer, Mike Davis Jr., Owen Klassen, Elijah Ndi, Nelson Phillips, Zac Seljaas, Hannes Steinbach, Max Ugrai, and Lukas Wank on the roster, Wurzburg Baskets re-signed 30-year-old Bazoumana Kone.
Qualifiers
Preparing for the Qualification Rounds, Kalev/Cramo re-signed 36-year-old Tanel Kurbas. Other confirmed players for head coach Heiko Rannula are Leemet Bockler, Gregor Kuuba, and Hugo Toom.
Troy Koehler inked a two-year contract with Heroes Den Bosch. The 22-year-old swingman is the second signing strengthening the Qualification Rounds bid, following Luuk van Bree.
