After logging 140 appearances in the NBA, 27-year-old Jerome Robinson used his overseas options and joined Saint-Quentin in the Basketball Champions League. Six years after being selected with the 13th overall pick of the NBA draft, he entered the list of summer signings for the French club alongside Mohamed Diakite, Noah Kirkwood, Khalid Moore, Giovan Oniangue, and Marcus Santos-Silva. Also, captain William Pfister, Lucas Boucaud, Dominik Olejniczak, Loic Schwartz, and Nolan Traore inked contract extensions.
Nearly three decades after his father Derrick Alston played for TDK Manresa and contributed to winning the lone ACB championship in team history, 26-year-old Derrick Alston Jr. inked a one-year contract with Baxi Manresa and will debut in the Champions League. A veteran of 18 BCL games in the Champions League with Bilbao, 30-year-old Alex Reyes signed a two-year contract with Manresa. Bodian Massa was the first addition to the team coached by Diego Ocampo.
Penning a 1+1 contract, 27-year-old David Kramer became the latest signing for La Laguna Tenerife. A gold medalist with Germany in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, he is a newcomer to the Champions League. The Canary Islands outfit already confirmed Lluis Costa, Ilimane Diop, Bruno Fitipaldo, Marcelinho Huertas, Konstantin Kostadinov, Thomas Scrubb, and Giorgi Shermadini on the roster for the next season.
Returning to the BCL after three appearances with Bahcesehir Koleji, 30-year-old Vladimir Brodziansky moved to UCAM Murcia for the 2024-25 campaign. Further continental club experience extends to five games played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 56 in the BKT EuroCup. He is the second offseason addition for the Universitarios after Dani Garcia.
Another reunion for Falco Szombathely
After playing abroad for the last two years, 29-year-old Benedek Varadi reunited with Falco Szombathely. He inked a two-year contract with an option for an additional season. Earlier in the offseason, the Hungary champions picked up Nikola Popovic and Kristof Bognar returned to his former team after seven years.
Coming out of Montana State, Robert Ford III signed a one-year contract with Wurzburg Baskets. Other confirmed players for the German club are Fabian Bleck, Julius Bohmer, Mike Davis Jr., Owen Klassen, Bazoumana Kone, Elijah Ndi, Nelson Phillips, Zac Seljaas, Hannes Steinbach, Max Ugrai, and Lukas Wank.
From wrapping up his NCAA career at Michigan, Finnish Olivier Nkamhoua committed to Niners Chemnitz for the next season, jumping into the Champions League. New teammates include Roman Bedime, Eddy Edigin Jr., Jeff Garrett, DeAndre Lansdowne, Jonas Richter, Nicholas Tischler, and Aher Uguak.
Two more newcomers for Galatasaray
Following Yaman Alisan, Roberts Blumbergs, David Efianayi, Ebuka Izundu, and James Palmer Jr., Galatasaray boosted the squad with Otis Livingston II and Angel Delgado, a veteran of 12 games played in the BCL. The latest additions for the Lions both penned one-year deals.
After hiring Giorgos Sigalas the new head coach, re-signing Nikos Kamarianos, and picking up Paulius Danusevicius and Francis Okoro, Kolossos H Hotels retained Giannis Chatzinikolas for the next season. The 28-year-old guard played in four BCL games with PAOK during the 2019-20 season.
Savion Flagg joins Rytas
Lithuania champion Rytas secured the services of Savion Flagg for the next season. Last season, the 25-year-old forward played in 15 BCL games with Telekom Baskets Bonn. Earlier signings were Martynas Paliukenas and Ignas Sargiunas.
Yiftach Ziv is the first addition to Hapoel Netanel Holon. The Israeli club previously renewed the contact of captain Niv Misgav and reunited with head coach Guy Goodes.
In the first offseason signing for King Wilki Morskie Szczecin, the Polish club added 24-year-old Szymon Wojcik.
Bonn and Juventus complete transfers
Looking to find a way to the Regular Season through the Qualification Rounds, Telekom Baskets Bonn penned Bodie Hume to a one-year deal. The 24-year-old American swingman is teaming up with Angelo Allegri, Jonathan Bahre, Phlandrous Fleming Jr., Sam Griesel, Thomas Kennedy, Darius McGhee, Janne Muller, Till Pape, Rivaldo Soares, and Lars Thiemann.
From a brief return to Zalgiris, 26-year-old Karolis Lukosiunas joined Uniclub Casino – Juventus for the next season. Laurynas Beliauskas, Sarunas Beniusis, Joe Chealey, Titas Didzgalvis, Ernestas Sederevicius, and Zygimantas Skucas were already on the roster.
Andorra adds Ben Lammers and Ferran Bassas
Producing more highlights among teams in the Qualifiers, Morabanc Andorra signed 28-year-old Ben Lammers for one year and 32-year-old Ferran Bassas for two years. Earlier additions were Shannon Evans and Chumi Ortega.
After adding Michael Flowers, Elias Lasisi, Arne Schrevens, and Kevin Tumba, Windrose Giants Antwerp re-signed 22-year-old Vince Van Cleemput for the next season.
Meanwhile, Sabah welcomed 24-year-old Andrey Voynalovic and 27-year-old Hassani Gravett from Slask Wroclaw.
