BAXI Manresa will return to the Basketball Champions League and is building an interesting roster. According to Eurohoops sources, Emanuel Cate is close to an agreement with the Catalan team for next season.
The Romanian center has played the last two seasons with U-BT Cluj-Napoca, a team from his home country with which he has averaged 8.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a PIR of 11.6 in the 19 games.
Together with the club, Cate stole the show both in the Basketball Champions League and the EuroCup, as U-BT Cluj-Napoca became established in the European stage.
However, it has to be noted that he will not considered a foreigner in the Spanish Liga Endesa, because he was part of the junior team of Real Madrid.
