It may sound incredible, but the legendary legacy of Marcelinho Huertas will continue for two more years.

La Laguna Tenerife officially announced that the 41-year-old point guard officially renewed his stay in the Canarian island until 2026.

Going only one victory away from another Basketball Champions League title by losing in the final to Unicaja Malaga in Belgrade this previous campaign, he’s eager for more.

The experienced veteran recently helped the Brazilian national team qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris by putting up 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Riga, beating the Latvian hosts.
