AEK ΒΕΤSSON BC announced that veteran forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas extended his contract with the team until 2026.
As the club announcement mentions, “The MVP of the previous season and one of the top foreign players of our glorious history isn’t going anywhere, he’s staying here.”
In his first season with AEK, Kuzminskas averaged 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in the 2023-24 Basketball Champions League while posting 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the Greek League regular season.
Throughout his career, the 34-year-old Kuzminskas played for such teams as Olimpia Milano, Olympiacos, Zalgiris Kaunas, Unicaja Malaga, Zenit St. Petersburg, Lokomotiv Kuban and Pinar Karsiyaka. From 2019 to 2021, the Lithuanian player appeared in 69 NBA games with the New York Knicks.
