One of the most experienced guards in the Basketball Champions League stays in the competition but changes (once again) the team, leaving Bertram Yachts Derthona Tortona to join BAXI Manresa.
It’s the case of Retin Obasohan, who’s coming off a season in Italy where he averaged 11.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game with the black-and-white team, alongside veterans like Kyle Weems and Leon Radosevic.
Bringing explosiveness and verticality to European courts, Retin Obasohan will once again play in the Basketball Champions League. This new adventure marks his 6th campaign in the competition, all six with different teams.
He represented Sidigas Avellino in 2016-17, Brose Bamberg in 2019-20, ERA Nymburk in 2020-21, Hapoel Jerusalem in 2020-22, Bertram Derthona in 2023-24, and now he’s heading to BAXI Manresa for the 2024-25 season.
Playing internationally with Belgium, he exploded for 20.5 points per game over two winning appearances over Slovakia and Spain in the latest FIBA EuroBasket 2025 European Qualifiers window in February.
