Grant Golden switches to AEK, Tobin Carberry signs with Peristeri

Richmond product Grant Golden signed a one-year contract to join AEK Betsson. After using overseas options and spending the last season with Vanoli Cremona, his career expanded into the Basketball Champions League. The next step is with Dimitris Flionis, Prentiss Hubb, Giannis Kouzeloglou, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, and Omiros Netzipoglou, under the guidance of head coach Dragan Sakota.

Tobin Carberry emerged as the latest summer signing for Peristeri. The 33-year-old guard, a veteran of four BCL games with the Bakken Bears, signed a one-year contract. Neoklis Avdalas, Dimitris Chatzis, C.J. Harris, Alexis Kamperidis, Stelios Poulianitis, Sotiris Stavrakopoulos, and Vangelis Zougris were already in for the team coached by Giorgos Limniatis.

Launching his professional career in Poland, Kenan Blackshear inked a one-year contract with Slask Wroclaw. The 23-year-old guard, coming out of Nevada, will play alongside Adrian Bogucki, Daniel Golebiowski, Blazej Kulikowski, Henri-Soprano Mboungolo-Mounanga, Angel Nunez, Ajdin Penava, and Marcel Ponitka, and Aleksander Wisniewski at the team guided by Miodrag Rajkovic.

Adding depth to the roster, UnaHotels Reggio Emilia picked up Elhadji Fainke on a 1+1 contract. The 19-year-old big joined Kwan Cheatham, Matteo Chillo, Mouhamed Faye, Filippo Gallo, Stephane Gombauld, Sasha Grant, Jamar Smith, Lorenzo Uglietti, Michele Vitali, and Cassius Winston on the team coached by Dimitris Priftis.

Seeking a third consecutive successful bid in the Qualification Rounds, Benfica penned 27-year-old Nico Carvacho to a one-year contract. Earlier in the offseason, the Lisbon outfit added Ahmaad Rorie and also re-signed Trey Drechsel and Eduardo Francisco.
