A lasting original of the Basketball Champions League, AEK Betsson is on the verge of adding 27-year-old Hunter Hale. In advanced talks between the involved parties, the team based in Athens presented an offer, hoping to finalize the deal, according to Eurohoops sources. Debuting in the BCL last season, Hale averaged 17.6 points per game over 14 appearances with Promitheas. Earlier in the offseason, AEK placed Nahiem Alleyne, Dimitris Flionis, Grant Golden, Prentiss Hubb, Giannis Kouzeloglou, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, and Omiros Netzipoglou on the roster for head coach Dragan Sakota.
Completing a transfer from Spartak Office Shoes, FMP Soccerbet picked up Filip Barna. Coming out of a solid campaign in the second-tier division of the ABA League, the 24-year-old forward will debut in the BCL. The new challenge meets Nikola Gasic, Ognjen Kuzmic, Jovan Novak, Emre Ozyegen, Eral Penn, Matic Rebec, Demetre Roberts, Nikola Saranovic, Ranko Simovic, Aleksa Stanojevic, Vojislav Stojanovic, Danilo Tasic, and Bojan Tomasevic.
KJ Williams penned a one-year contract with Promitheas. After winning the G League championship in his first professional season, the 24-year-old forward/center joined Nasos Bazinas, Linos Chrysikopoulos, Javin DeLaurier, Elijah Hughes, Antonis Koniaris, Michalis Lountzis, and Darius Perry on the squad for head coach Ilias Papatheodorou.
Another Champions League rookie, 26-year-old Sandro Antunovic moved to Igokea m:tel. Sacar Anim, Mihailo Boskovic, Terrell Carter II, Strahinja Gavrilovic, Vojin Ilic, Bryce Jones, Nikola Maric, Dragan Milosavljevic, and Vasa Pusica were already in for the team coached by Nenad Stefanovic.
