Picking up 30-year-old Josh Adams, Promitheas strengthens the roster on the way to the next edition of the Basketball Champions League

Resurfacing in the Basketball Champions League after 11 appearances as a member of Besiktas Sompo Japan in 2017-18 and Avtodor Saratov in 2016-17, Josh Adams inked a one-year contract with Promitheas.

Adams, 30, is also a veteran of 16 games played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Anadolu Efes. His experience in the 7DAYS EuroCup amounts to 54 appearances between Cedevita Olimpija, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, and Unicaja. Besides displaying his talents in Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Turkiye, and Russia, the Wyoming product played in Australia, China, and the G League during his professional career.

Bouncing back into action and heading to the 2024-25 edition of the BCL, Nasos Bazinas, Linos Chrysikopoulos, Javin DeLaurier, Elijah Hughes, Antonis Koniaris, Angelos Lagios, Michalis Lountzis, Minas Papagiannis, Darius Perry, Nikos Plotas, Nikos Vasileiou, and KJ Williams are his new teammates, under the guidance of head coach Ilias Papatheodorou.

A lasting original of the Champions League, AEK Betsson officially added 22-year-old Giorgos Fillios and 36-year-old Gaios Skordilis, a veteran of 16 BCL games with Peristeri. Rebuilding the roster, Nahiem Alleyne, Dimitris Flionis, Grant Golden, Hunter Hale, Prentiss Hubb, Tasos Kamateros, Zois Karampelas, Giannis Kouzeloglou, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Omiros Netzipoglou, and Alfis Pilavios were already in for head coach Dragan Sakota.

Preparing for the Qualification Rounds, the Norrkoping Dolphins placed 17-year-old Joakim Dumon on the 2024-25 squad. The youngster joined Keenon Cole, Nathan Dawit, Sebastian Forsling, Devonte Green, Pierre Hampton, Shane Hunter, Tim Jonsson, Daniel Love, Tim Schuberg, and Marcus Tyus.
