Promitheas adds Kenny Williams, Pinar Karsiyaka extends Errick McCollum

Kenny Williams is staying in the Greek League and the Basketball Champions League but with a different team.

After spending the previous season with Peristeri, the U.S. swingman has joined Promitheas Patras for the upcoming season, as officially announced.

Williams played for the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League and Bnei Herzliya in Israel before moving to Kolossos Rodou in 2021. He then played for AEK Athens, and after a season with Peristeri, he is set to play his fourth consecutive year in Greece.

The 26-year-old averaged nine points and 2.2 rebounds in league games and 10.6 points with 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in the BCL last season.

McCollum staying in Izmir

Speaking of continuity, the experienced U.S. guard Errick McCollum is staying with Pinar Karsiyaka for the third consecutive year.

The 36-year-old joined the Turkish club in 2022 and will stay until the summer of 2025, as announced.

The brother of NBA star C.J. McCollum and former EuroCup champion and MVP averaged 15.4 points with 4.3 assists and 2.5 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League last season, and he is set to play another season in the FIBA competition with the club from Izmir.
