Trevon Duval signed a one-year contract with Sabah, the team announced on Saturday.

Duval, 26, played for Duke in the 2017-18 season, averaging 10.3 points per contest over 37 appearances, including 34 starts. Launching his professional career, he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks as an undrafted free agent. He was waived late in the 2018-19 Regular Season, after logging three games played in the NBA. Moving his talents to the Houston Rockets, he was limited to two appearances with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in a championship run in the G League.

Following more G League action as a member of the Iowa Wolves and Grand Rapids Gold, and spells in Canada and the Dominican Republic, he joined Manisa in the FIBA Europe Cup and the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi last season. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game over nine appearances before parting ways with the Turkish club.

Bouncing back, he meets Sabah in the approaching Qualification Rounds of the Basketball Champions League. In Antalya, the Azerbaijani champions will face the Norrkoping Dolphins in the Quarterfinals of a six-team tournament for a spot in Group G of the Regular Season alongside Baxi Manresa, Bertram Derthona Tortona, and Niners Chemnitz.

The team coached by Rimas Kurtinaitis previously tabbed Kamron Blue, Artjoms Butjankov, Klavs Cavars, Hassan Gravett, Mike Holton Jr., Aydin Ibrahimov, Alikamran Mammadov, Enear Poladkhanli, Shirzad Shirzadov, Andrey Voynalovic, DeAndre Williams, and Tariel Yusifzada for the next season.
