After 15 games in the Basketball Champions League with Darussafaka Lassa, 24-year-old Canadian Lloyd Pandi joined Rasta Vechta for the 2024-25 season.
With Dacka last season, he averaged 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest over nine features in the Champions League. The Carleton product went for 4.7 points per game over seven appearances in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi. He followed up with 11.7 points per contest with the Ottawa BlackJacks in the Canadian Elite Basketball League, CEBL.
Moving to the team coached by Martin Schiller, his new teammates are Joel Aminu, Kaya Bayram, Karl Buhner, Tyger Campbell, Isaiah Cozart, Joschka Ferner, Jayden Gardner, Johann Grunloh, Roy Krupnikas, Justin Onyejiaka, Brandon Randolph, Justin Robinson, Linus Ruf, Ryan Schwieger, Grant Sherfield, Linus Trettin, and Luc Van Slooten.
In Group D of the BCL Regular Season, the German club is set to face Galatasaray, Promitheas, and one more side coming out of the Qualification Rounds.
Kutaisi 2010, among the contenders for the fourth spot in Group D, retained 22-year-old Dachi Kavtaradze and 18-year-old Temo Dvalishvili. Baqari Berekashvili, Mikheil Berishvili, Beka Bekauri, Akaki Dvalishvili, Giorgi Korsantia, Giorgi Ochkhikidze, Nika Soselia, and Giorgi Sulaberidze were already placed on the 2024-25 roster.
Taking on Patrioti Levice in the Quarterfinals of a six-team tournament, a win for the Georgian club would bring up a matchup versus Kalev/Cramo in the Semifinals. From there to a potential Final against ERA Nymburk, Trepca, or Keravnos for a Regular Season spot.
