Stefan Lazarevic was announced as a new addition to the 2024-25 roster by FMP Soccerbet on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Serbian small forward was previously released by Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet.

On consecutive loan assignments after launching his professional career with Crvena Zvezda, Lazarevic played for the Panthers from 2014 to 2017 and between 2018 to 2021. Over the last three years, he became a regular for the fellow Belgrade outfit, contributing to two AdmiralBet ABA League championships, three AdmiralBet Basketball League of Serbia titles, and three Radivoj Korac Cup triumphs.

Displaying his talents in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, he logged 74 appearances, including 19 games in the 2023-24 edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition with 1.2 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.2 assists, and 0.2 steals per contest. Back in 2014, he was crowned Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament champion.

At FMP, Lazarevic is teaming up with Filip Barna, Nikola Gasic, Ognjen Kuzmic, Jovan Novak, Emre Ozyegen, Eral Penn, Dusan Radosavljevic, Matic Rebec, Demetre Roberts, Nikola Saranovic, Ranko Simovic, Aleksa Stanojevic, Vojislav Stojanovic, Danilo Tasic, and Bojan Tomasevic, under the guidance of Sasa Nikitovic.

Besides extending his career in the AdmiralBet ABA League and domestic competitions in Serbia, the Belgrade native will introduce himself to the Basketball Champions League. Entering a six-game double-legged round-robin schedule, his new side will take on UCAM Murcia, Peristeri Domino’s, and Manisa in Group H of the Regular Season, hoping to clinch a berth in the Round of 16.
