Ahead of multiple duties both in the Greek League and in the Basketball Champions League, AEK has strengthened itself even more, adding a new element to its roster.
After three years between the NBA and the G-League, the 1999-born power forward RaiQuan Gray joined the black-and-yellow side. He’s only the latest of new additions to the Greek squad, which also brought to Athens Hunter Hale and signed back Mindaugas Kuzminskas.
In the 2023-24 season, he played on three occasions with the San Antonio Spurs but spent the vast majority of the campaign with the Austin Spurs in the G-League, where he averaged 13.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
Following the conclusion of the Basketball Champions League Qualification Rounds, AEK discovered its path in this year’s competition. They will play against VEF Riga, Maccabi Ramat-Gan, and 2022-23 tournament’s winners Telekom Baskets Bonn, drawn in Group E.
