Szombathely emerges victorious from intense Wroclaw battle

It all went down to the wire in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Round 1 game between Śląsk Wrocław and Falco-Vulcano Szombathely in Poland.

In the end, Zoltán Perl proved to be the difference maker, scoring clutch shots and leading the Hungarian team to a 75-84 win on the road.

Perl led the way for Szombathely with 29 points and seven rebounds, shooting 13/22 for a PIR of 26. Benedek Váradi followed with 11 points, while Nikola Popović added 10 points and six assists.

On the other side, former NBA player Isaiah Whitehead gave his all, scoring 25 points but lacking support from his teammates. Reggie Lynch added 11 points, while Ángel Núñez and Daniel Gołębiowski contributed 10 points each.
