Rytas Vilnius was quick in digesting their first defeat of the Basketball Champions League season, as they immediately bounced back by convincingly beating Slask Wroclaw 98-75 at home.
The hero of the night was Gytis Radzevicius, who led his team in scoring with 23 points over 8/10 from the field while also grabbing 9 rebounds.
This season’s newcomer Jayvon Graves also had a great showing with 17 points in the Lithuanian team’s win.
On the losing side, Angel Nunez and Reggie Lynch tried to keep the Polish team in contention by combining for 25 points, but they weren’t enough.
Slask was outplayed in rebounds (45 vs 30) and only gained a first lead at the very beginning of the encounter.
After this win, Rytas Vilnius reaches Reggiana at 1-1 in Group F, while Slask Wroclaw stays at the bottom with a 0-2 record. Falco-Vulcano Szombathely is unbeaten at 2-0.
