Four more teams extended to 3-0 in the fourth week of this year’s Basketball Champions League Regular Season

By Eurohoops team / info@eurohoops.net

Four teams had the opportunity to extend their hot starts to the Basketball Champions League Regular Season into unbeaten 3-0 streaks this week: FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets in Group A, Unicaja Malaga in Group B, ERA Nymburk in Group D, and Manisa Basket in Group H.

Well, everybody took their job seriously, as they all continued to win games thus far. Manisa did it after losing two of its best players – Saben Lee to Maccabi Tel Aviv and Javon Freeman-Liberty to the Chicago Bulls. The Hugo Besson-Martynas Echodas connection worked well against Peristeri.

In the same group, UCAM Murcia had a convincing 36-point win over FMP SoccerBet, bouncing back with two consecutive wins after losing in the season opener to the Turkish side. A similar pattern occurred in Group D, where both ERA Nymburk and Galatasaray found success this week.

Francesco Tabellini’s team was hosting RASTA Vechta, eager to find their first win of the Basketball Champions League season in Czechia; however, Stephen Brown and his teammates didn’t have the same idea. Will Cummings and Otis Livingston, instead, dragged the red-and-yellow side over Promitheas.

Zac Seljaas and his mullet hairstyle continue to trend, even in French territory: his 27-point night against Nanterre was crucial to extending the winning streak to three consecutive matches. Earlier in the week, Hapoel Holon found its first victory against Igokea.

Concluding with the reigning champions, it looks like it would be particularly difficult to emerge victorious from the Martin Carpena Arena this season: Unicaja Malaga destroyed Aliaga Petkimspor 112-82 with an outstanding collective effort. On Tuesday, Filou Oostende beat King Szczecin.
