Former Hapoel Gilboa Galil and Pistoia player Payton Willis parted ways with La Laguna Tenerife, as the Spanish club officially confirmed and he moved to Italy for Vanoli Cremona.
The 26-year-old guard joined Tenerife last July and signed a deal for the 2024/25 season, but left the team after a couple of months.
“The club and Payton Willis have reached an agreement to part ways. The club expresses gratitude to the American shooting guard for his work and professionalism during the months he has spent on the island, while wishing him the best of luck in his personal and professional future.
Thank you very much for everything, and good luck, Payton!” was officially announced.
Willis played four games in the ACB League for Txus Vidorreta’s side, averaging 5.8 points, and two games in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and two assists.
