Igokea m:tel still can’t find its way back to winning form in the Basketball Champions League, while Hapoel Netanel Holon notched a second consecutive victory.
The Israeli side defeated the team from Laktaši on the road, 79-86, compleating the double over Igokea and improving to 2-2 after two opening defeats.
Hapoel turned things around with a 13-5 run to close the third period, then opened the final quarter with a 10-0 run for a 62-75 lead. Igokea trimmed the deficit to 71-77, but it wasn’t enough, as the visitors once again stretched the lead to double digits to secure the road victory.
Marcus Bingham led the charge with an impressive performance, scoring 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds, while Yiftach Ziv followed with 19 points. Jalen Adams added 16, and Dakarai Tucker contributed 10 points for the winning side.
Dragan Milosavljević scored 18 points for Igokea, while Bryce Jones recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists. Terrel Carter followed with 16 points, and Borisa Simanić scored 14, as the team from Laktaši fell to 1-3, extending their losing streak to three games.”
