Paul Lacombe of Nanterre 92 won the fan vote to decide the Player of the Week in the Basketball Champions League.
The 34-year-old swingman enjoyed a perfect shooting night in Tectake Arena on Wednesday. He went on to get the Player of the Week nod on Friday, outlasting Ludvig Hakanson of UCAM Murcia, Jarell Eddie of Peristeri Dominoโs, Marcus Bingham Jr. of Hapoel Netanel Holon, and David Kravish of Unicaja in the race between the members of the Team of the Week.
The veteran of 61 appearances in the Champions League became the fifth Player of the Week in the 2024-25 season, following Zoltan Perl of Falco Vulcano Szombathely, the winner in Weeks 1 and 3, Zac Seljaas of FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets in Week 2, Jaromir Bohacik of ERA Nymburk in Week 4, and R.J. Cole of Rytas in Week 5.
In Gameday 4 of the Regular Season, he dropped 17 points behind 4/4 field goals and 6/6 free throws against Wurzburg in Germany. On the way to a game-high efficiency rating of 21, he added two steals, two assists, and one rebound.
The French club jumped to 2-2 in Group A. With two games remaining, it can go all the way from the Round of 16 to elimination.

An emphatic putback dunk by athletic Tyson Perez of Unicaja dominated the Top 5 Plays of the Week. Christian Bishop, Justin Tillman, Danilo Tasic, and Neoklis Avdalas followed second through fifth.
