As several reports said yesterday, Saben Lee has now officially left Maccabi Tel Aviv to make his return to Turkiye, where he will be playing again with Manisa Basket. He previously started this season there.
Before moving to the EuroLeague with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he averaged 12.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game including 23 points and 5 assists in his winning debut against Anadolu Efes, the 25-year-old guard took the Basketball Champions League by storm.
In just two games to begin the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League campaign, he put up astonishing numbers: 39.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, shooting 66.7% from two, 62.5% from three, and 87.5% at the line. He even tied the All-Time BCL scoring record with 43 points over FMP.
