Round 5 of the Basketball Champions League began with a decisive victory for Aliaga Petkimspor over King Szczecin.
The Turkish side won 90-63, eliminating King Szczecin from contention for both the Round of 16 and the Play-Ins. Petkimspor is now 3-2 in Group B, while Polish side fell to 0-5.
Wesley Van Beck led the scoring for Aliaga Petkimspor with 16 points, while DeWayne Russell recorded the highest PIR of 20 for the winning side, contributing 14 points and six assists. Peyton Aldridge followed with 14 points, and Breein Tyree added 13.
On the opposing side, Isaiah Whitehead scored 13 points, Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz contributed 11, and Kassim Nicholson finished with 10 points.
