Kolossos Rhodes is officially out of contention in the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League, as the Greek team is still winless at 0-5. Tonight, they got beaten 86-75 by Saint-Quentin.
Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball found an important effort in players coming off the bench, as both Nolan Traore (14 points) and Jerome Robinson (23 points) led the way without starting the game.
Andrew Goudelock tried to keep the Greek hosts on the game with 23 points, but his vintage effort was only a losing one. Gabriel Galvanini went close to a double-double at 16 points and 9 rebounds.
Collectively, the French team scored 59 out of his final points from the bench, led for 37:52 minutes by escaping with a 23-point lead, and was better even in second-chance points (19-13).
The French team can still qualify as 2nd in Group C, needing to beat Karsiyaka by more than 10 points after losing 84-74 on the road in their first matchup.
Following yesterday’s thrilling victory at home over Errick McCollum and teammates, instead, La Laguna Tenerife is already in the Round of 16.
