The standouts of Week 9 of the Regular Season were announced on Thursday, following exciting action across Europe on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The five candidates promptly entered a fan vote to decide the next Player of the Week. The winner will be announced on Friday.
The previous nods went to Zoltan Perl of Falco Vulcano Szombathely in Weeks 1 and 3, Zac Seljaas of FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets in Week 2, Jaromir Bohacik of ERA Nymburk in Week 4, R.J. Cole of Rytas in Week 5, Paul Lacombe of Nanterre 92 in Week 6, Steven Enoch of Rytas in Week 7, and Gytis Radzevicius of Rytas in Week 8.
The latest batch includes 41-year-old Huertas. Leading La Laguna Tenerife to a home win against Karsiyaka and in the Round of 16, he combined 18 points with seven assists.
