Following this summer’s transfer market, Galatasaray was one of the most anticipated teams to watch in the whole Basketball Champions League Regular Season. According to Eurohoops sources, the Turkish club is close to an agreement with Michael Young to reinforce the squad.
Last year, he played in the 2023-24 FIBA Europe Cup with Bursaspor, averaging 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over six appearances. Before moving to Turkiye, he also played with Dijon and Cholet among other teams in his overseas trajectory.
He already spent time in the Basketball Champions League with Arged BM Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski in the 2021-22 season by averaging 12.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
Previously, he played six games in the 2019-20 season with JDA Dijon, scoring 6.0 points and 4.8 boards per game.
Coming out of college in 2017 with the Pittsburgh Panthers, he tried his chances with the Washington Wizards and then played in the G-League with the North Arizona Suns, affiliated with Phoenix.
