After 37 years in charge of head coaching duties, Pascal Donnadieu can finally enjoy Nanterre’s games at home as a passionate fan. And tonight was one of those nights indeed.
Forced to beat Hapoel Holon in order to get to the Play-Ins with the home-court advantage while also keeping Igokea at a safe distance from behind, the French team played well-organized, winning 87-77.
Justin Tillman came out clutch for the home side, leading in scoring with 18 points.
Paul Lacombe followed him and finished with a versatile winning effort of 10 points, 9 boards, and 7 dimes.
On the losing side, Brendan Adams’ 15-point effort wasn’t enough for the purple-and-yellow team.
Following this result, Hapoel Holon will now face Aliaga Petkimspor on the road as the third-best classified team in Group A; Nanterre 92, instead, will start the Play-Ins at home against Filou Oostende.
