The Hungarians escaped from Italy with the home-court advantage in the Play-Ins

Easy at it is: whoever won in Reggio Emilia between the hosts and Falco-Vulcano Szombathely would have picked up the second place in Group F to find the home-court advantage in the Play-Ins.

It looked like the hosts could have gotten the job done until the beginning of the fourth quarter, but the heart of the yellow-and-black Hungarians emerged late, getting a 14-0 run to escape.

Going all the way to the final 88-79 victory, the Hungarian powerhouse was dragged as usual by Zoltan Perl, who led with 22 points over 9/17 from the field tonight.

Matt Tiby and Nikola Popovic also contributed by combining for 33 points.

On Reggiana, Cassius Winston almost had a double-double with 22 points and 9 assists; Jaylen Barford (16 points) and Stephane Gombauld (12 points) were the only ones following him in double-digits.

With this victory picked up in PalaBigi, Falco finished second in Group F and will go up against Maccabi Ramat-Gan; the red-and-white Italian team, instead, will play against Telekom Baskets Bonn in a reminiscence of the 2022-23 BCL Regular Season.
