It was only a matter of time before Rytas Vilnius could finish their path in Group F of this year’s Basketball Champions League Regular Season on top, and get to the Sweet 16 straight away.

Heading to their final game of the first phase of the season with high expectations, they managed to beat WKS Slask Wroclaw 98-88 on the road and win Group F with a 5-1 record.

A total of six players finished the game in double-digits for Giedrius Zibenas’ team, with Steven Enoch leading at 17 points by making the paint his own territory.

Talking about scoring in the paint, both teams put up a lot of points from there, as Rytas won 58-48 in such an aspect. Regarding scoring on second-chance opportunities, Rytas destroyed Slask 40-7.

Azuolas Tubelis also contributed to the red-and-black team’s huge victory, ending with 16 points and 8 rebounds over 8/12 from the field.

For the hosts, which wanted to conclude their campaign with a positive outcome despite staying at the bottom with a 1-5 record, both Emmanuel Nzekwesi and Jeremy Senglin finished with 19 points each.
