Daron Russell named Basketball Champions League Player of the Week

Daron Russell who fueled a key win for Karsiyaka against Saint-Quentin was voted by 47% of the fans and got the Basketball Champions League Player of the Week honors

Russell tallied 29 points and eight assists and finished the regular season with a bang.

Among the weekly awards handed out earlier in the Regular Season, Zoltan Perl of Falco Vulcano Szombathely prevailed in the fan vote of Weeks 1 and 3.

Zac Seljaas of FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets won in Week 2, Jaromir Bohacik of ERA Nymburk in Week 4, R.J. Cole of Rytas in Week 5, Paul Lacombe of Nanterre 92 in Week 6, Steven Enoch of Rytas in Week 7, Gytis Radzevicius of Rytas in Week 8, and Kendale McCullum of Maccabi Ramat Gan in Week 9.

The 2024-25 edition of FIBA Europe’s top-tier club continental competition resumes during the first week of January with the Game 1 affairs of eight best-of-three Play-In series.
