Chad Brown signed a contract with Peristeri Domino’s for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
The Greek club officially welcomed back the 28-year-old center on Saturday.
Brown spent the 2021-22 season in Peristeri. Besides action in the domestic league, he introduced himself to the Basketball Champions League. Returning to the BCL this season, he averaged 3.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest with King Wilki Morskie Szczecin through a winless run in Group B of the Regular Season.
Bouncing back in the league, he meets the team coached by Giorgos Limniatis in the Play-Ins, set to face Bertram Derthona Tortona and the home-court advantage in a best-of-three series. Game 1 is scheduled to be held in PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris on January 7. The series winner will join FIT/ONE Wurzburg Baskets, AEK Betsson, and the series winner between Karsiyaka and Promitheas Vikos Cola in Group I of the Round of 16.
At the domestic level, Peristeri is fresh off clinching a berth in the Final 8 of the Greek Cup via a 5-6 start in the 2024-25 Stoiximan GBL Regular Season. The second half of the double-legged round-robin schedule will decide teams in the Playoffs or the Play-Ins. The remaining teams will settle in the Play-Outs to battle to avoid relegation.
NBA draft prospect Neoklis Avdalas is among his new teammates, along with Tobin Carberry, Chris Coffey, Jarell Eddie, C.J. Harris, Berrick JeanLouis, George Papas, Justin Patton, Stelios Poulianitis, Vassilis Xanthopoulos, and Vangelis Zougris.
