Ahead of this week’s first game of the Basketball Champions League Play-Ins against Bertram Derthona Basket, Peristeri strengthened its roster by adding the experienced Vladimir Jankovic.
He previously started the 2024-25 campaign in the Greek League, posting 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game with AS Karditsas.
Over the course of his career, Vlado Jankovic won one Greek League and four Greek Cups with Panathinaikos, while failing to succeed in the Basketball Champions League with AEK.
With the yellow-and-black team, he played from 2019 to 2021 and for a short stint in 2023-24. He also represented both teams of Thessaloniki, Aris and PAOK, while also having a short experience in Valencia.
Peristeri concluded their Basketball Champions League Regular Season in 3rd place in Group H, trailing both UCAM Murcia and Manisa but getting over FMP.
