Filou Oostende continues to be a difficult team to beat in the Basketball Champions League, and Nanterre 92 figured it out on Game 1 of their BCL Play-Ins best-of-three series.

Chase Audige was the true hero for Filou Oostende, getting very close to a huge double-double in the first week of the BCL Play-Ins at 21 points and 9 assists.

He was followed by the Timmy Allen-Davion Mintz duo, as the two Americans combined for 26 points.

On Nanterre’s side, Desi Rodriguez had 19 points but it wasn’t enough.

Game 2 of this best-of-three series will take place in Oostende on January 14 at 20:00 CET. Nanterre needs to win that one to avoid an early elimination.

Whoever wins this series will advance to Group L of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16, meeting the winner of the Play-Ins between Falco-Vulcano Szombathely and Maccabi Ramat Gan, other than ERA Nymburk and UCAM Murcia.
