Manisa shockingly comes back to beat Chemnitz at home

Everybody was expecting Manisa to show the right face heading to the BCL Play-Ins stage, considering Saben Lee’s return, Hugo Besson’s standout season so far, and other factors.

NINERS Chemnitz was inches close to finding a huge upset over Kazys Maksvytis’s team. However, with an unbelievable 14-0 run in two minutes, the home side turned it over, winning 87-86.

Hugo Besson (27 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists), Fabien White Jr. (24 points and 5 rebounds), and Saben Lee (20 points and 5 assists) were crucial in giving the Turkish team the victory.

Williams Christmas showcased his athletic package with outstanding dunks and also contributed with almost a double-double at 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.

With another win on the toad in Game 2, Manisa will make their way into Group J of the Round of 16. There, they would find Unicaja, Rytas Vilnius, and the winner of Galatasaray vs. Saint-Quentin.
