Following ten weeks in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season producing as many Player of the Week, switching to the Play-Ins introduces the 11th Team of the Week of the 2024-25 season.
Wesley Van Beck, Jaylen Barford, Hugo Besson, Chase Audige, and Ebuka Izundu got the nod, as announced on Thursday, considering the best players through exciting action all around Europe on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Entering a fan vote, the five standouts are candidates for the Player of the Week award. The winner will follow on Friday.
Van Beck, 28, came off the bench to record a game-high 24 points as Aliaga Petkimspor edged out Hapoel Netanel Holon in Baku.
Barford, 28, tied an all-time BCL record with 7/7 from beyond the arc, lifting UnaHotels Reggio Emilia over Telekom Baskets Bonn in Telekom Dome.
Besson, 23, fueled a late run for Manisa resulting in a home win against Niners Chemnitz.
Audige, 25, paired a game-high 21 points with nine assists and Filou Oostende stole homecourt advantage from Nanterre 92.
Izundu, 28, tallied a game-high 17 points for Galatasaray in a home win over Saint-Quentin.
Player of the Week distinctions in the Regular Season went to Zoltan Perl of Falco Vulcano Szombathely in Weeks 1 and 3, Zac Seljaas of FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets in Week 2, Jaromir Bohacik ERA Nymburk in Week 4, R.J. Cole of Rytas in Week 5, Paul Lacombe of Nanterre 92 in Week 6, Steven Enoch of Rytas in Week 7, Gytis Radzevicius of Rytas in Week 8, Kendale McCullum of Maccabi Ramat Gan in Week 9, and Daron Russell of Karsiyaka in Week 10.
