Nanterre couldn’t celebrate at home as they lost 88-78 in front of their beloved fans in Game 1. However, their approach in Game 2, played this time in Oostende, was impeccable.

Leading for the whole length of the encounter, the French side won 76-67 to force Game 3 of this Play-In series, as the matchup will come back to Nanterre for the do-or-die clash.

Desi Rodriguez led his team with 16 points over an almost perfect two-point shooting night (8/9); he was immediately followed by Ahmad Caver at 15 points over 3/3 from deep and 5 assists.

Filou Oostende lived a tragic shooting night at home, closing on a poor 19/53 in shots from the field. At least, E.J. Anosike finished with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The winner of this Play-In series will now reach Group L of the Round of 16, where they will find not only the surprise of the tournament ERA Nymburk and last year’s bronze medalist UCAM Murcia.

Closing out the picture on this group, the winner of the matchup between Falco Vulcano Szombathely and Maccabi Ramat Gan, with the Hungarians up 1-0 thus far.
