It was a rollercoaster of emotions in Germany for Game 3 of the Play-In series between NINERS Chemnitz and Manisa Basket, as the latter prevailed 87-84.
Similar to what happened in Game 1, where the Turkish side prevailed in thrilling fashion by winning 87-86 in the final seconds of the encounter, this game was all about emotions too.
Despite shooting 2/9 from downtown, Saben Lee still finished with 28 points in Manisa’s win.
Olivier Nkamhoua’s 24 points off the bench weren’t enough for Chemnitz.
Despite losing Saben Lee for some games during this season, as he had signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Manisa Basket has now gone through the Play-Ins, reaching the already qualified Unicaja and Rytas.
There could be two Turkish teams in Group J of the Round of 16 this season in the Basketball Champions League, as Galatasaray could finish the picture after blowing out Saint-Quentin in Game 1.
