After two weeks of Play-In action, we have the first complete four-team group of the Round of 16, as Group I is now completed with AEK, Wurzburg, Promitheas, and Derthona.
These last two teams were among the successful ones in week two of the 2024-25 BCL Play-Ins, respectively beating Karsiyaka and Peristeri to sweep opponents in their respective matchups.
Derthona wasn’t the only Italian team capable of advancing through the Play-Ins, as Reggio Emilia also reached the Round of 16 for the first time in the club’s history.
The same occurred to Manisa, dragged by Saben Lee’s 28 points to eliminate Chemnitz from contention and reach Group J; Galatasaray isn’t there yet, as Nolan Traore’s Saint-Quentin forced Game 3.
