While the remaining encounters in this week’s Basketball Champions League Play-Ins were all about tension until the final minutes and pieces of action, Nanterre managed to control things at home.

Hosting Filou Oostende in Game 3 of their Play-In series, the home side went up by 15 points in the third quarter. From then on, despite the Belgian team’s reducing the gap, they still made it to the Sweet 16.

Desi Rodriguez was crucial in getting the 76-71 win over the Belgians, finishing with 13 points and 7 rebounds despite being benched early in the fourth after being called four fouls. Roko Prkacin had 18.

The usual duo composed of Timmy Allen and Davion Mintz combined for 36 points in their last game of the Basketball Champions League season. E.J. Anosike had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

ERA Nymburk and UCAM Murcia were waiting for this week’s action in the Basketball Champions League Play-Ins to find out their two opponents in Group L of the Round of 16.

Yesterday, Falco-Vulcano Szombathely reached them after a thrilling two-overtime clash against Maccabi Ramat-Gan; tonight, Nanterre 92 managed to join the party after beating Filou Oostende.
