Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Week 1 Preview

The Basketball Champions League Round of 16 starts with eight fixtures scattered in venues across Europe on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Among teams returning to action after topping their group in the Regular Season, defending champion Unicaja is looking to extend a record-breaking winning streak to 17 games with Manisa in Malaga on Wednesday. More Group J action on Wednesday, Rytas hosts Galatasaray in Vilnius seeking a sixth win in a row.

Coming off 25 consecutive wins in Santiago Martin Arena, La Laguna Tenerife launches the Group K schedule with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia challenging the streak on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, BAXI Manresa faces Aliaga Petkimspor in Pavello Nou Congost.

A meeting between Greek teams, AEK Betsson and Promitheas Vikos Cola headlines Gameday 1 of Group I. Before Wednesday’s meeting, FIT/ONE Wurzburg Baskets and Bertram Derthona Tortona open a new six-game schedule on Tuesday.

In Group L, ERA Nymburk and Nanterre 92 are on a five- and three-game winning streak on the road, before visiting Falco Vulcano Szombathely and UCAM Murcia, respectively, on Wednesday.
