Pallacanestro Reggiana was debuting in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 tonight, and the schedule in Group K wasn’t helpful for the Italians.

Facing the two-time competition’s champions in Tenerife, Dimitris Priftis’ team had to surrender 91-69.

Txus Vidorreta’s side was simply unstoppable in the second half, crushing their opponents and escaping towards their first victory of this stage.

Marcelinho Huertas had one of those nights, finishing with 27 points and 7 assists. David Kramer contributed too with 22 points over 6/7 from three.

For the Italians, Jaylen Barford had a 15-point losing effort.

While La Laguna Tenerife managed to take the impressive home win over the Italians, the other clash in Group K saw BAXI Manresa going up against Aliaga Petkimspor at the same time.
