Galatasaray qualified for the Basketball Champions League Quarter-Finals.
The Istanbul team qualified for the Basketball Champions League Quarter-Finals after defeating their Turkish rivals, Manisa Basket Divisa, 104-81 in a crucial game.
Yakup Sekizkok’s side opened the game in dominant fashion. Manisa caught up in the second quarter, but Galatasaray pulled away again in the third period, regaining a big lead. Manisa started the final period with a 10-0 run, but the hosts recovered in time and quickly put the game to bed.
Sadik Kabaca and Jason Palmer led the scoring with 16 points each, while Ebuka Izundu followed with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Will Cummings added 14 points, and Tyrone Wallace contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.
Fabian White stood out for the opponents with 26 points, while Joseph Lual-Acuil was one rebound shy of a double-double with 19 points. Hugo Besson chipped in with 16 points as Manisa bowed out with a 1-5 record.
