Week 6 of the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League Round of 16 wrapped up, and after the action on Tuesday and Wednesday, it’s time to spotlight the top performers.
The 18th Team of the Week features Stephen Brown (ERA Nymburk), Lluis Costa (La Laguna Tenerife), Desi Rodriguez (Nanterre 92), Ismael Kamagate (Bertram Derthona Basket), and Ebuka Izundu (Galatasaray).
Brown was the engine for Nymburk, guiding them to a dominant sweep over UCAM Murcia and topping Group L.
Costa stepped up in the absence of key players for La Laguna Tenerife, leading them past BAXI Manresa.
Rodriguez hit 20+ points again for Nanterre 92, helping them advance to the Quarter-Finals with a win over Falco-Vulcano Szombathely.
Kamagate anchored Bertram Derthona’s defense in their crucial win over FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets, while Izundu’s dunk-heavy double-double powered Galatasaray past Manisa Basket Divissa.
A fan vote launched on the official site of the Champions League will decide the next Player of the Week. The winner will be announced on Friday.
