American point guard Josh Adams, who recently signed a two-year contract with Avtodor Saratov, was seriously injured in a traffic accident that took place in the USA.
As the Russian club announced, Adams undergone a surgery on his neck and he will need five months in order to rehabilitate.
Avtodor Saratov also stated that it will not make any moves to release the player, instead following the process of his recovery and waiting for his return to action. However they will scan the market in order to find a player who will fill the gap in their roster.
If all goes well, hopefully Adams will be able to join his team for the second half of the new season.
