Aris BC is very close to acquiring Vlado Jankovic on loan from Valencia. It’s a flirt that had been going on since last summer and might be completed quite soon.
While the desire of the Greek club was to sign Jankovic as a free agent, Aris can’t pay for the full contract the player has with Valencia. Thus, Aris entered negotiations with the “Taronja” in order to find a solution to get Jankovic on loan and the two teams are quite close on reaching an agreement which will be beneficial to both sides.
On one hand, Valencia doesn’t want to completely release the player and on the other, Aris will be able to pay a much more manageable sum in order to enlist him.
The player’s side has been in contact with Valencia in order to receive a part of his contract in order to be loaned to Aris. In this way, the total price of his transfer which will be much smaller than originally estimated by the Greek team.
It’s all about Aris making the necessary moves in order to add Jankovic to its roster as soon as possible, per the team’s wishes.
