The Long Island Nets, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have requested waivers on guard Donnie McGrath and his next stop is expected to be AEK BC.
McGrath was acquired from Long Island’s local player tryout and appeared in 12 games for the LI Nets this season, averaging 8.7 points, 9.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per contest.
The experienced guard had also played in the past for AEK (2009-10) and also for Aigaleo and PAOK also in Greece. His career includes stops in the Euroleague with Anadolu Efes in Turkey and also in Italy, Spain, France, Russia and Lithuania.
