The expected transfer of Jamon Gordon to Aris Thessaloniki is now official. The Greek club announced the acquisition of the American combo guard who returns to the Greek League after 2011.
Gordon is joining Aris ahead of a key period since his new team is about to face the challenges of the Greek Cup final vs Panathinaikos and the FIBA Champions League playoffs against Strasbourg.
Aris was looking for a quality and experience in a player, elements that the 32-year-old American guard possesses since has spent the previous seasons in the EuroLeague. His last station before Aris was Darussafaka Dogus with which he averaged 8.2 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game in EuroLeague.
