The first leg of the FIBA Champions League Round 16 is finished and it looks like we are headed to some thrilling action next week.
That’s because out of the sixteen teams, only one seems to have gained a really major advantage over its opponent. That’s Dinamo Sassari after beating Le Mans with a 16-point margin at home. The team from Sardinia now only needs to not get… routed in France in order to advance in the quarterfinals.
Everything is open in the other battles, particularly the ones between Oldenburg and Banvit or Aris vs Villeurbanne where the first-leg games finished with the two teams tied. Remember, since the teams have to win with an aggregate score, a match can end with the score even.
