Following the expiration of the contract that the 31-year-old forward had signed in 2014, the two sides began the talks to renew their cooperation and today the deal was announced.
The player found a common point with the Greek club and so he will sign a new three-year-deal that will “bind” him to AEK until 2020. The deal is finalized and only the official announcement remains.
Sakotas finished the 2016/2017 season with 11.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game the Greek League while registering 13.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League.
